1. Core Design & Working Principle
This fully automatic knife-type pleating & hot melt gluing integrated production line is a flagship all-in-one equipment independently developed by Jiangsu Moer Intelligent Equipment, specially designed for mass production of HEPA/ULPA high-efficiency filter media.
Different from rotary roller pleaters, it adopts a precision mechanical knife tooth reciprocating folding structure. The whole line realizes unwinding, static elimination, constant tension control, knife pleating, double-side hot melt gluing, cooling shaping, automatic stacking & cutting in one fully automatic flow without manual intervention in the middle process.
The model code explanation:
400: Minimum adjustable pleating height 3 mm to maximum 400 mm;
700: Maximum effective processing width of filter media up to 700 mm;
"Full-auto" means the complete production line is equipped with automatic reel change, automatic material feeding, automatic glue supply, automatic finished material stacking, realizing unattended continuous production for a long time.

Section 1: Automatic Heavy-Duty Unwinding & Static Elimination Unit
Heavy-load reel holder, can load raw filter rolls with outer diameter up to 1200 mm; dual-station auto unwinding is optional for non-stop reel replacement;
Photoelectric EPC edge deviation correction + closed-loop constant tension servo control, effectively preventing thin glass fiber HEPA paper from stretching, wrinkling or tearing during high-speed conveying;
Online ion static eliminator removes static electricity on filter media surface, avoids dust adsorption and fiber shedding of fragile glass fiber material.
Section 2: Precision Knife Tooth Pleating Host (Core Unit)
High-hardness alloy steel folding knife mold, reciprocating servo drive folding structure, stable folding force. Soft buffer protection structure is added to the knife tooth contact position to prevent scratching or breaking ultra-fine glass fiber filter paper. The folding frequency is adjustable from 5–30 times per minute, matching different production speed requirements.
Section 3: Synchronous Double-Side Hot Melt Gluing Station
Two groups of independent hot melt glue spray guns, synchronous gluing on both sides of folded filter media. The glue output flow automatically follows the folding speed to avoid excessive glue overflow or insufficient adhesion. Hot melt glue permanently locks pleat shape, finished filters will not scatter folds during subsequent cutting, rolling and frame assembly, eliminating secondary manual gluing procedures and cutting labor costs significantly.

Long multi-channel air cooling section, evenly cools and solidifies hot melt glue instantly after gluing. The folded filter material can enter the cutting and stacking process immediately without waiting for natural cooling, greatly improving line operation efficiency.
Section 5: Servo Fixed-Length Cutting & Automatic Stacking Output Table
