At the core, the unwinding system ensures smooth material feed, while the slitting unit system—capable of one middle cut and edge cuts in the discharge area—enables parallel production of up to two lengths simultaneously, maximizing throughput. The cutting speed is programmably synchronized with pleat speed, and cut parameters can be adjusted based on material type, ensuring precision across various filter media.
These machines boast a wide range of working widths (600mm, 1050mm, 1250mm, 1550mm, 2500mm, 3000mm) and servo-controlled pleat height ranges tailored to different material requirements, with pleating speeds reaching up to 400 P/min. Innovatively applied handling technology minimizes set-up time, enhancing operational efficiency. The user-friendly menu mode simplifies operation, while flexible parameter setting and real reproducibility guarantee consistent results batch after batch. An Absolute Encoder System eliminates the need to reposition the drive to the home position after machine shutdown, saving valuable time.
Built on a sturdy, low-vibration ALCOA Plus basic frame, the machines feature parallelogram technology throughout the transfer chain for stable material handling. The feeding table is adjustable both horizontally and vertically, with an adjustable feeding peak, and the upper table is positioned via a drive with 0.1mm precision. A light metal knife bar with a rapid change system, combined with quick 0.1mm/index adjustment for upper and lower knives, ensures fast tool changes and precise cutting.
For specialized heating needs, the patented water-cooled FALTEC infrared machine heating table offers up to 3 heating zones with a maximum temperature of 200°C, controlled via PID, and comes with glass or aluminum surfaces. Vertical back pressure is pneumatically precision-controlled and easily adjustable. The discharge table, approximately 700mm in length, facilitates efficient material handling.
Four machine versions cater to specific applications: the S-Version (up to 150 P/min, 4 servo drives) for standard use up to 10 layers; the V-Version (up to 200 P/min, 4 servo drives) for mass filter production (up to 3 layers, 1 layer up to 250 P/min); the X-Version (up to 50 P/min, 5 servo drives) for heavy wire mesh with up to 12 kN horizontal back pressure; and the P-Version (up to 120 P/min, 6 servo drives) for up to 6 layers including wire and plastic support mesh.
