3. Complete Machine Structure & Function Modules
The whole machine adopts an integrated automatic assembly line layout, divided into 5 core functional sections from left to right:
(1) Unwinding Feeding Unit
Equipped with an air-expansion unwinding shaft for large rolls of HEPA filter paper. It is fitted with an automatic web deviation correction system to avoid material shifting during operation. It supports pneumatic lifting for easy roll replacement by a single operator, and features auto-stop & alarm functions when material runs out or breaks.
(2) Preheating Treatment Unit
Built-in constant-temperature heating plates preheat and soften brittle glass fiber filter paper in advance. This process eliminates paper fragility, effectively reduces cracking and tearing during pleating, and lowers the reject rate drastically, especially for ultra-thin high-efficiency glass fiber media.
(3) Core Rotary Pleating & Hot Melt Gluing Main Unit
The rotary pleating mechanism is the core of the machine, featuring high-precision gear positioning to form neat, uniform filter pleats. Synchronized hot melt gluing system coats glue on pleat crests simultaneously during folding, replacing manual gluing and ensuring consistent glue thickness. It delivers stable pleat spacing and flat filter folds without deformation.
(4) PLC Touch Screen Control System
An independent human-machine touch screen cabinet is installed on the top of the main body. Operators can set pleat height, folding speed, gluing temperature and production length on screen. The PLC intelligent system stores multiple product parameter recipes for quick switching between different filter specifications, with real-time fault self-diagnosis and error display.
(5) Output Conveying & Collecting Platform
A long stainless steel conveying table at the rear transports finished pleated filter media smoothly. It supports automatic counting and fixed-length cutting matching, so finished filter pleats can be directly collected for subsequent frame assembly processes.
